John Wihbey

John Wihbey is a producer at On Point.

Before joining the show, he worked as a reporter for The Star-Ledger in New Jersey, where he covered environmental and land use issues and dug up off-beat features. He has also written for USA Today and Boston Magazine's Web site.

He is a former English and history teacher, and baseball coach.

Raised in Maine, he graduated from Bowdoin College and earned degrees from the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism and the Bread Loaf School of English at Middlebury College.
